A national, peak-body, association that supports trade & commerce.
We unite businesses, industry leaders, and public partners around the shared goal of making trade more competitive, connected, and inclusive. Through resources, advocacy, and networking opportunities, we promote trade and investment — serving as a platform where organizations can collaborate, share expertise, and drive meaningful growth across the trade ecosystem.

The Micro, Small & Medium Enterprise Council serves as the primary platform within the National Association for Trade and Commerce (NATC) dedicated to representing, supporting, and advancing the interests of South Africa’s micro, small and medium enterprises. Recognising that enterprises at different stages of growth face unique opportunities and challenges, the Council provides a structured framework for engagement, advocacy, collaboration, and capability development across the business community.
Women in Commerce Council (Women Entrepreneurs Council) +
The WEC serves as a dedicated platform to support, connect, and advance women business leaders and entrepreneurs across diverse industries. Women-led enterprises are growing within South Africa’s ecosystem and the Council works closely to address collectively challenges faced by women entrepreneurs while creating opportunities for business growth, leadership development, and collaboration.
Trade & Market Access Council +
The Trade & Market Access Council serves as a strategic platform for advancing trade, market access and commercial opportunities across industry sectors. The Council brings together industry stakeholders, businesses, producers, government institutions, market specialists and strategic partners to identify market opportunities, address barriers to trade and promote inclusive participation in domestic, regional and international markets.
The Council is focused on turning market intelligence and stakeholder collaboration into practical opportunities for market expansion, export growth, investment, value-chain development and improved competitiveness.
Stronger together,
by design.
Our work is strengthened by a nationwide ecosystem of regional chapters, industry bodies, development partners and public-sector collaborators.
